Big bark

TrackDesign

Year: 2019
Size: ø 42 cm H 240 cm
Materials: natural corten

The corten totems are part of the installation designed for the TrackDesign company, at the Salone del Mobile 2019. The elements of the set have been transformed into self-supporting totems that provide, at choice, two configurations by means of the addition of an accessory in painted iron. A bluetooth music speaker or a lamp can be integrated into the calendered panel, a system created by the team of TrackDesign engineers and designers. The high corten panels are reminiscent of tree trunks that soar upwards and the texture of the natural metal simulates the fascinating roughness of bark.
